Obituary of Mark J. Schultz

Mark J. Schultz, 66, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 22, 2013. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Joseph C. and Liliane (Collini) Schultz, he was formerly of Erie, PA and Old Bridge, moving to Point Pleasant fifteen years ago. He served in United States Army, during Vietnam and was stationed at Fort Monmouth. Mark worked as a sales representative for heavy duty transport and commercial trucks and currently employed by Gabrielli Sales. He was an avid sports enthusiast, mechanic, fisherman, and boater. Surviving are his son, Scott Schultz and his wife Sue of AZ; and his daughter, Stefanie Murphy and her husband Ken of Northport, LI, NY. Also surviving are two brothers, Duane and Nathan Schultz; two sisters, Evelyn Mihok and Mary Frances Schenley; and his beloved grandchildren, whom he cherished, Kiera, Brandon, Lauren, and Michael. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 26 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 27, a Liturgy will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant. Cremation will be private.
