Obituary of Katherine Konkus

A memorial service in thanksgiving for the life of Katherine Konkus, 97, of Point Pleasant, who was called home on Thursday, November 28, 2013 will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 18 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 708 Route 88, Point Pleasant, 08742. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Katherine Konkus, nee Klc, 97, of Point Pleasant, was called home on Thursday, November 28, 2013. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles, and by her son, Allan. Katherine is survived by her son, former Point Pleasant Borough Mayor, Martin Konkus and his wife Karen. She also leaves behind her cherished grandson, Chris Konkus and his wife Susann; her beloved granddaughter, Donna Konkus; grandsons, Jeremy and Kyle; several great-grandchildren; her brother, Steve Klc and his wife Jean of Avenel; and her sister, Mary Curtis of CO. Katherine was a woman of deep true faith who has been joyfully reunited with her family.
