Obituary of Eric Erlandsen

Eric Erlandsen, 62, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, December 13, 2013. Born in East Hanover, to the late Ivan and Elizabeth (Prentice) Erlandsen, he lived in Brick and Point Pleasant for most of his life. Eric worked as a self-employed painter and was owner of Erlandsen Painting Contractors, Point Pleasant. He loved dancing and artistry. Surviving are his wife, Joyce Williams Thorn; and his daughter, Jodi Erlandsen and her husband, Chris. Also surviving are two step-daughters, Kimberly Hoenge and Melissa Thorn; two sisters, Elizabeth Nedrow and Edith Trapp; his extended family; and dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 19 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 20, a service will be held at the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Bay & Forman Avenues, Point Pleasant Beach.
