Obituary of Margaret Dozier

Funeral services for Margaret Lambert Dozier, 85, of Point Pleasant, who passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013 have been rescheduled. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan 4 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m. a service will be held at the funeral home with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. Margaret Lambert Dozier, 85, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 26, 2013. Born in DePere, WI to the late Peter and Freda Lambert, she has lived in Point Pleasant for many years. She was a graduate of East DePere High School and was a drum major for the Green Bay Packers. She also had worked as a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines. Marge was a member of The Woman's Club of Point Pleasant and Friends of the Point Pleasant Borough Library. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas H. Dozier, Sr. and by her step-son, Donald Dozier. Surviving are her step-son, Thomas H. Dozier, II and his wife Carol of Boulder; and sister, Adele Dwyer of DePere, WI. Also surviving are grandchildren, Bethany Dozier Borel, Portland OR; Curtis Dozier, Poughkeepsie, NY; Melissa Dozier, Boulder, CO; Michael Dozier, Huntington Beach, CA; one great grandchild, Hannah Borel; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m., Friday, Jan.3 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m. a service will be held, at the funeral home, and followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
