Obituary of Catherine M. Driber

Catherine M. Balschi Driber, 93, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, January 1, 2014. Born in Roaring Creek, PA, to the late Thomas and Mary Ellen Balschi, she has lived in Point Pleasant since 1942. Mrs. Driber had worked as a cake decorator for Hoffman's Ice Cream, Point Pleasant Beach. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Elwood J. Driber in 1965. Surviving are two sons, Dennis Driber and his wife Nancy of Howell and Richard Driber and his wife Sharon of IL; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5 at Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6 a Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach, followed by interment Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
