Obituary of Helen Doris Romanchick

Helen Doris Romanchick (nee Becht), 87, of Point Pleasant peacefully entered Heaven on Monday, January 6, 2014. Born in Newark, to the late Robert and Helen Becht, she was formerly of Maplewood. Helen was a communicant and Rosary/Altar Society member of Saint Peter Parish, Point Pleasant Beach. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William, who shared their enjoyment of the shore and moved to Point Pleasant sixty years ago. Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Zacks and son, William A. Romanchick, both of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her sister, Mary Lou DeCicco; two granddaughters, Melissa L. Campenni and Jennifer L. Thomas; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 - 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 8 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
