Obituary of Benjamin L. Payne

Benjamin L. Payne, 69, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Born in Belleville, to the late Lyman Benjamin & Margaret Payne, he was formerly of Neptune City, and has lived in Point Pleasant for forty years. Mr. Payne was a retired glazer and worked for Atlantic Glass Company, Red Bank, Belmar, and Matawan. Surviving are his beloved wife, of fifty-one years, Clara Truex Payne; son, Benjamin Payne and his wife Lynn of Toms River and daughter, Dawn Donofrio of Brick. Also surviving are three brothers, Charles, Raymond, and Robert Payne; five grandchildren, Timmy, Cathy, Amanda, Nicholas, and Dancia; and four-great grandchildren, Jarred, Alanna, Brayden, and Makayla.
