Obituary of John E. Driscoll

John "Jack" Eugene Driscoll, 75, of Point Pleasant, passed peacefully, Monday, March 10, 2014 after a brief illness, surrounded by those he loved. Born in Staten Island, to the late John and Jean Driscoll, he lived in Brick, and has resided in Point Pleasant for over thirty years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. Driscoll worked for NCR and later at Stop and Shop, Point Pleasant. He enjoyed golf and was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Point Pleasant Lodge. Surviving are his son, Steven Driscoll of NY; his daughter, Suzanne Casella and her husband Louis of Brick; and two grandchildren, Hailey and Collin Casella. Also surviving are his brother, Ken Driscoll; sister, Renee Driscoll; nieces, Gina McBride and her husband Brian, and Donna Collins; nephew, Allan Huhn and his wife Betsy; and his great nieces and nephews, John, Jim, Kevin, Kyle, Brianna, and Alisha. A memorial visitation will be held from 1 - 4 p.m., Saturday, March 22 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. In lieu of flowers, donations made in his memory to the VA New Jersey, East Orange Campus, Voluntary Service Office, 385 Tremont Ave., East Orange, NJ 07018 would be appreciated.
