Obituary of Ann Van Stone Baumeister

Ann Van Stone Baumeister, 93, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Born in Little Falls, NY, to the late Francis Dunham and Lucie Mae (nee Moyer) Van Stone, she lived there, Jersey City, and in several foreign countries. For twenty-five years she lived in New Port Richie, FL, and has resided in Ocean County since 2000. Mrs. Baumeister was a graduate of the Gunston Hall School for Girls and member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter Edwin Baumeister, Sr.; and three sons, Walter Edwin Baumeister, Jr., Jeffrey Moyer Baumeister, and Peter Baumeister. She is survived by her daughter, Diantha B. Mottley of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are her daughter in law, Barbara Baumeister; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. A memorial gathering will be held from 1 - 2 p.m., Saturday, March 29 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Please no flowers.
