Obituary of Edmund C. Moore, III

Edmund C. Moore, III, 55, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 17, 2014. A life long Point Pleasant resident, Ed was a graduate of Point Pleasant Borough High School and has worked as carpenter since then. He was a lifetime member of Laurelton Fire Company No. 1, Station 23-1, and prior to that was a member of Point Pleasant Borough, Fire Company No. 2, for five years. Ed was a skilled auto mechanic, avid sports enthusiast, and Dallas Cowboys fan. He was predeceased by his father, Edmund C. Moore, Jr. Surviving are his mother, Madeline Moore of Point Pleasant; his sister, Sharlee Kaposztas and her husband Anton of Point Pleasant; and two brothers, Jefferey Moore and his wife Susan of Randolph and Marc Moore and his wife Geri of Waymart, PA. Also surviving are his niece, Jennifer and his nephew, Steven Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Monday, April 21 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 22 a service will be held at the funeral home, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle.
