Obituary of Jeannette Kellington

Jeannette Kellington (nee McLoughlin), 80, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away, Sunday, April 27, 2014. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Edmund & Jennie McLouglin, she was raised in Point Pleasant and lived there until moving to Ormond Beach eighteen years ago. Ms. Kellington was a graduate of Point Pleasant Beach High School and Georgian Court College. For twenty-eight years she worked as an agent and office manager for the Green Insurance Agency, Point Pleasant, retiring in 1996. She was active in the Monmouth Council of the Girl Scouts of America and was a communicant of Prince of Peace R.C. Church, Ormond Beach. She was predeceased by her parents, Edmund McLoughlin and Jennie Carroll McLouglin Longo; step-father, Harry F. Longo; and brother, Edward P. McLouglin. Surviving are four daughters, Jeannette C. Kellington of Point Pleasant; Eileen and her husband Joe of Sea Girt; Catherine Kellington of Cinnaminson, and Mary (Teesa) Swedish and her husband Brian of Cranbury; and four granddaughters, Katie, Allison, Kelli, and Emily. Also surviving are her sister-in-law, Dolores McLouglin; three nephews; and one niece. At 11 a.m., Monday, May 5 at Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, 406 Forman Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach.
