Obituary of John Troger

John W. Troger, 63, of Point Pleasant, passed away peacefully in the quiet of his own home on Friday, May 2, 2014. Born in Saint Petersburg, FL, John was a lifelong resident of the Jersey Shore. A graduate of Manasquan High school, he was a well-respected, self-employed Licensed Master Plumber. John will be lovingly remembered as a humble, trusting brother and a reliable friend to many. John was predeceased by his father, Richard A. Troger and his mother, Alice E. Buckley. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Troger of Manasquan and his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Cathy Troger of Point Pleasant. A memorial gathering for John will be held from 6 - 9 p.m., on Thursday, May 8 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road.
