Obituary of Frances Melillo Dahnke

Frances Melillo Dahnke, 83, of Brick, passed away at her home on Sunday, June 1, 2014. Born in Ridgefield Park, to the late Louis & Frances Melillo, she was raised there and has lived in Brick for fifty-five years. Mrs. Dahnke was a skilled seamstress. She was a bowling league member and enjoyed trips to Atlantic City. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rudoph Dahnke; granddaughter, Kathryn "Katy" Ventura, and brother, Carl Melillo. Surviving are her daughter, Frances Dahnke-Ventura and her husband, Louis of Point Pleasant; son, William L. Dahnke of Brick; and granddaughter, Abigail Ventura. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m., Friday, June 6 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 3:30 p.m. a service will be held.
