Obituary of Lois Benedetti

Lois Schnall Benedetti, 72, of Brick, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Lois grew up in Paramus and raised her three sons in Point Pleasant before retiring and moving to Lions Head North, Brick. For many years she worked as a food service supervisor at the Point Pleasant Beach Nursing Home and then Southern Ocean Center in Manahawkin. Lois was known for her compassion, sternly influencing many of her son's friend's success by "adopting" them to live with her family during times of trouble. She was the strength to her own family's journey, the contributor to her son's ability to succeed, and a friend to many. She enjoyed her retirement with her many friends of Lion's Head North. Lois was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Bruce Benedetti and is survived by her sons, Scott Benedetti and his wife Carolann; Eric Benedetti and his wife Susan; and J.B. Benedetti; daughter, Sherri Todd Gauthier; brother, Ken Schnall; sister, Beth Schnall; and grandchildren, Raymond, Madison, Sean, Lillyanna, and Morgan. Cremation will be held privately.
