Obituary of James W. Kelly

James W. Kelly, 59, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Jersey City, to the late Louis and Patricia (Silva) Kelly, he was formerly of Bayonne, and has resided in Point Pleasant for 37 years. Mr. Kelly was an Events Planner for Bay Head Yacht Club, Bay Head. He was a communicant of St. Peter's Church, Point Pleasant Beach. He was an avid runner, fisherman and loved biking. Surviving are his brother, Louis Kelly and his wife Elizabeth; his sisters, Patricia Grimes and her husband Scott and Barbara Kaminski and her husband Edward; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Dammann; Fortunato, Patrick and Elizabeth Kelly; Mark and Christopher Kaminski and Kathleen Skowronski. He is also survived by his close friend Chris and Oreo. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday, July 10 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At l:00 p.m. on Friday, July 11, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Peter's Church, Point Pleasant Beach. Private cremation will follow.
