Obituary of Estelle Grande
Estelle Demas Grande, 76, of Brick, passed away, Saturday, July 12, 2014.
Born in Newark, to the late John and Mary Demas, she lived in Nutley before moving to Brick fourteen years ago.
Mrs. Grande was a graduate of Nutley High School, the University of Pennsylvania, as well as Kean, Rutgers, and Montclair State Universities.
She retired from the Irvington School District where she worked as a school psychologist.
She had a lifelong passion for animals and their welfare.
Surviving are her husband, of fifty-seven years, James V. Grande; and her son, James V. Grande, Jr. of Brick. Also surviving are her brother, Steven Demas and his wife Carole; sister, Melba Russomanno and her husband Peter; and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers donations made in her memory to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723 would be appreciated.
