Obituary of Regina K. Savage

Regina K. Savage "Ginnie" of Brick, formerly of Point Pleasant, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the age of 81. Regina was born and schooled in Germany, and came to this country in 1960. She was a Certified Travel Counselor working for various agencies in Spring Lake, Brick and Point Pleasant. She was predeceased by her daughter, Christina; her parents Johann & Terese Schmitt, Germany; her brother, Emil Schmitt, Germany; and her husband, Frank Stewart Savage. Surviving are her son, Mark S. his wife Elyn and three grandchildren Bryan, Jason and Abigail. Also surviving are her son, J. Scott, his wife Robin and two grandchildren Michael and Samantha; a niece, Helga Schmitt Mlynski her husband Michael Mlynski and a nephew Marcus Schmitt of Germany. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 29 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 3 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be held privately.
