Obituary of Philip J. Heller
Philip J. Heller, 71, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Born in East Stroudsburg, PA, to the late William and Evelyn Heller, he was raised there and has lived in Point Pleasant for forty-two years.
Phil worked as a marine mechanic for many years and retired from Comstock Marina, Brick.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and enjoyed motorcycle riding and boating.
Two brothers, William and John Heller, predeceased him.
Surviving are his loving wife, of forty-eight years, Barbara (Taylor) Heller; two sons, Philip Heller and his fiance Jennifer Cohen of Toms River and Richard Heller and his fiance Jenny Hyde of Brick; and his daughter, Barbara Judge of Point Pleasant. Also surviving are two brothers, Donald and Robert Heller; four grandchildren, David, Samantha, and Hudson Heller and Cameron Judge; and his great-grandson, Bray.
Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Monday, September 22 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 7:30 p.m. a service will be held.
