Obituary of Margaret B. VanPelt

Margaret B. Birdsall Van Pelt, 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Monday, September 22, 2014. Born in Point Pleasant, to the late Arthur and Margaret Birdsall, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Van Pelt was retired from the Borough of Point Pleasant, where she worked as the Borough Clerk. Surviving are her husband, of sixty-four years, William J. Van Pelt; and two sons, William Van Pelt of Toms River and David Van Pelt and his wife Cynthia of Jackson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Thursday, September 25 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m., Friday, September 26, a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant, followed by interment at Saint Anne Cemetery, Wall.
