Obituary of Frank Cerligione

Frank Cerligione, 77, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Friday, September 26, 2014. Born in Newark, to the late Salvatore and Rose Cerligione, he was raised there and has lived in Point Pleasant for forty-three years. Frank was retired from Labor Union, Local 342, Newark, and for the past seventeen years worked for Joe Leone's, Point Pleasant Beach. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a communicant of Saint Peter Church, Point Pleasant Beach. He was predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Cerligione. Surviving are his beloved wife, of fifty-three years, Marion Lois (Lubischer) Cerligione; and two sons, Frank Cerligione and his wife Johnna of Brick and Gerard Cerligione of Bay Head. Also surviving are his sisters, Josephine Tramutolo and Lucille Cassidy; granddaughter, Jaden Cerligione; daughter-in-law, Randi Long; sister-in-law, June Formato; and nephews, Angelo Tramutolo and Daniel, James, and Charles Formato. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Monday, September 29 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 30 a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Forman & Saint Louis Aves., Point Pleasant Beach.
