Obituary of Paul J. Cowen

Paul J. Cowen, 78, of Toms River, passed away, Sunday, October 5, 2014. Born and raised in Newark, he lived in Point Pleasant for thirty-two years, before moving to Toms River four years ago. Paul was retired from the City of Newark Fire Department and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Kaitlin. Surviving are his wife, of fifty-one years, Marie Klein Cowen; son, Paul R. Cowen of Brick and daughter, Corinne Cowen of Vineland. Cremation will be held privately .
