Obituary of William "Billy" Birdsall

William "Billy" Birdsall, 61, a lifelong resident of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Wednesday, October 22, 2014. For twenty six years, he worked as a truck driver for Beacon Scrap Metal, Freehold. Billy was a long time member of the American Legion, Post 348 and was also a member of the V.F.W., Post 4715 for twelve charter years. Predeceased by his father, Robert Birdsall; surviving are his mother, Sigrid Birdsall; two sisters, Carol Spratford and Linda Robertson; his children, Patricia Ann Birdsall-Lopez; and William and Joseph Birdsall; his grandchildren, Marissa Birdsall, and Selina, Arianna, and Anthony Lopez; and his beloved companion, Diane Tesoriero. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m., Saturday, October 25 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Interment will be held privately.
