Obituary of Barbara D. Weis

Barbara D. Crummy Weis, 51, of Toms River, passed away, with her family at her side, on Monday, September 14, 2009, at the Ocean Medical Center. Born in Newark, to the late John and Grace (Fitzpatrick) Crummy, she was formerly of Point Pleasant, graduating from Point Pleasant Boro High School. She later moved to Atlantic Highlands and has lived in Toms River for fifteen years. Barbara worked as a sales representative and since 1996 she was employed by CDW, Tinton Falls. An avid NY Giants fan she also loved the beach, her new house, and especially her family. She was predeceased by her sister, Joanne Crummy; her nephew, Nicholas; and by her niece, Natalie. Surviving are two sons, Bryan Weis and his fiance Jamie Krivoski of Easton, PA and Dylan Weis and his girlfriend Krista Klinger of Pen Argyl, PA; her brother, James Crummy of West Paterson; three sisters, Paula Nurnberger of Rockaway, Mary DelGiorno of Point Pleasant Beach, and Anne Gonella and her husband Peter of Point Pleasant; and her nieces and nephews, Marc, Kyra, Janine, Joseph, Aubrey, Peter, Daniel, and Evan. Friends may visit from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, September 17, at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 11 a.m., Friday a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, Forman & Saint Louis Avenues, Point Pleasant Beach. Cremation will be held privately.
