Obituary of Charles E. Mould

Charles E. Mould, Sr., 86, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Bennington, VT to the late John and Catherine Mould, he has lived in Point Pleasant since 1948. He was the owner and operator of Mould Linoleum Company, Point Pleasant, and later retired from P. L. Custom Body and Equipment, Wall, where he worked installing interiors and floor coverings. Mr. Mould was a United States Army, World War II veteran and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service to our country. He was a founding member, color guard captain, and past commander of the V.F.W., Post No. 4715 and was a member of the American Legion, Post No. 196, both of Point Pleasant Beach. Surviving are his beloved wife of sixty-three years, Doris Greenley Mould; his son, Charles E. Mould, Jr. and his wife Carol of Toms River; two daughters, Eileen Macejak and her husband Richard of Toms River, and Patricia Barrows and her husband Brad of Brick; eight grandchildren, Chuck, Kirsten, Cheryl, Helen, Michelle, Stephanie, Sandra, and Robby; and two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Daniel. Friends may visit from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Sunday, October 4, at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Monday a service will be held at the funeral home followed by interment at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory made to the Charles Mould Scholarship c/o V.F.W., Post 4715, 603 Saint Louis Ave., Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 are suggested due to cemetery floral restrictions.
