Obituary of Antoinette Foti

Antoinette Casale Foti, 95, of Lavallette, passed away Monday, January 11, 2010. Born in Italy, to the late Nestor and Josephine Casale, she immigrated to the United States in 1933 and lived in the Peterstown section of Elizabeth before moving to Lavallette in 1942. She truly loved her new country especially all of the freedoms and opportunities it promised. Mrs. Foti was a self-employed business owner in Ocean County for many years and was a communicant of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, Saint Bonaventure Church, Lavallette. A devoted wife and mother, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Dominic and is survived by her son, Vincent Foti and his wife Debra of Point Pleasant; her granddaughter, Dana Foti; her sister, Rose Rigliano; her brother, Salvatore Casale; two nephews, Malcolm & Ernest Casale; and by her niece, Geraldine Narzinsky. Friends may visit from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, January 15 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road (732.899.3300) At 10 a.m., Saturday, January 16 a service will held at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, Toms River.
