Obituary of David John Lewis

David John Lewis, 46, of Point Pleasant Boro, passed away at Monmouth Medical Center on Saturday night, February 13, 2010 with his loving family by his side. Mr. Lewis was an engineer and electrician who ran his own business. David grew up in Roselle Park, NJ, was a graduate of Roselle Park High School. He lived in Maui Hawaii for several years and resided in Point Pleasant for the past 12 years. Surviving are his wife of 7 years Laurie, his son Matthew David, 18 months, his beloved dog George, his parents Elsie and David Lewis of Cape May, two sisters, Nancy Arcuri of Rahway and Donna Clark of Tuckerton. David had a great affection for the ocean and enjoyed fishing and boating along with antique cars. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 17th from 7 to 9 pm at Pable-Evertz Funeral Home, 901 Beaver Dam Road, Point Pleasant. A funeral service will be held Thursday Feb 18th at 10 am at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 708 Route 88, Point Pleasant. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family has kindly requested that donations be made in David's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
