Obituary of Charlotte Rose

Charlotte Fritz Rose, 97, of Toms River, passed away, Wednesday, March 3, 2010. Born in New York, NY, to the late Jeremiah and Charlotte (Hance) Fritz, she lived in West Orange, Spring Lake, and the Monmouth County area. She had lived in Brick for thirty-five years before moving to Toms River in 2005. A homemaker, Mrs. Rose adored her family. A highlight of her life was being named the 1929 Queen of the Asbury Park Baby Parade. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert A. Rose. Surviving are five sons, Jeremiah Rose and his wife Frank of Toccoa, GA, Robert Rose and his wife Darlene of Roanoke, IN, Charles Rose of Ocean Twp., George Rose and his wife Toni of Charlotte, NC, and John Rose and his wife Kate of Brick; three daughters, Suzanne Palmiere and her husband Patrick of Maggie Valley, NC, Charlotte Wood and her husband Richard of Brick, and Margaret Hicks and her husband Jeffrey of Luxembourg. She was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Friends may visit from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m., Saturday, March 6 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 2 p.m., Sunday, March 7, the Burial Office will be said at Saint Mary's By-the-Sea Episcopal Church, Bay & Atlantic Aves., Point Pleasant Beach. Interment will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 8 at Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
