Obituary of Eric C. Thieleman

Eric C. Thieleman, 57, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Monday, July 12, 2010 at his home, after a courageous battle with melanoma. He was raised in West Caldwell, and has lived in Point Pleasant since 1972. Eric loved the ocean and was a local commercial fisherman for many years. He also worked for Jayeff Construction, Manasquan, as a project manager. A proud and devoted father, Eric adored his children and was truly everyone's friend. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Thieleman. Surviving are his beloved wife of twenty five years, Lois Hermanson Thieleman; his son, Warren Thieleman, and his daughter, Erica Thieleman, both of Point Pleasant; and his mother, Alice Thieleman of West Caldwell. He is also survived by his brother, Arthur Thieleman and his wife Marianna; and two sisters, Stefanie Thieleman and her husband Pete Workman and Karen Waddell and her husband Jim and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may visit from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, July 15 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Friday, July 16, a service will held at the Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church, Bay & Forman Aves., Point Pleasant Beach. A private cremation will follow.
