Obituary of Florence E. Kirn

Florence E. "Lovey" Kirn, 71, of Brick, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at home. She was born in Bayonne and was a life-long resident of the area. She had lived in Point Pleasant before moving to Brick. She had been employed as a Unit Secretary at Brick Hospital for 30 years retiring two years ago. Florence was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Point Pleasant. She was a graduate of the Point Pleasant Beach High School class of 1957 and a member of the Lox Stocks Trading Club, Point Pleasant. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Joseph A. Miller Sr. and Florence M. Hoenigman Miller and her brother, Joseph Miller. She is survived by three sons, Mark and his wife Jacqueline of Bridgewater; Steven and his wife Vickie of Straford, CT and Eric and his wife Amy of Houston, TX; one brother, Edward Miller and his wife Laverne of Gettysburg, PA and four grandchildren, Stephanie, Timothy, Sophie and Rebecca. Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Friday, July 30, at the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, at 9:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Point Pleasant.
