Obituary of Lucille Heitefuss

Lucille Heitefuss, 87, of Brick, passed away, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Meridian Rehabilitation, Wall, after a short illness. She was born and raised in New York City and graduated with a B.A. in English form Hunter College, NYC. Lucille worked for the State of New York, Labor Department/Unemployment Office for twenty- five years before retiring. She loved to travel. Her hobby was to gather artifacts for collections pertaining to her interests. She lived in Harrison, NY, for fifty-one years, before moving to Cedar Village, Brick, twelve years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, of forty-nine years, Edward Heitefuss and four of her five siblings. She is survived by her son, James of CA; her daughter, Hilary Waterman and husband Richard of NJ; four grandsons, Dylan DeMacy and wife Allison of NC, Donovan DeMacy and fiance Kirsten of WA, Drew Waterman of CA, and Wesley Waterman of NJ; two great-grandchildren, Brendan and Olivia of NC; her sister, Josephine Thornton of NY; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
