Obituary of Marie P. Soracco

Marie P. Soracco (nee Ryan), 84, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, with family at her side in Lawrenceville, Ga. She was born in Union City in 1926 and later resided in North Bergen and Point Pleasant. She attended Beauty Culture School in New York City. She was a past president of V.F.W., Post 453, Ladies Auxiliary; a member of B.P.O. Elks, Manasquan Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary; and was a member of Saint Martha Church, Point Pleasant. Beloved wife of the late Benito "Tito" Negron and the late Lawrence J. Soracco; beloved mother of the late Linda Marie and Lawrence James Soracco; and beloved sister of the late Alfred Ryan and the late Philip Ryan. She is survived by a son, Steven Soracco, daughter-in-law, Renee Soracco of Bergenfield; and a daughter Dr. Marie N. Soracco, son-in-law, Dr. Robert E. Kelley Jr. of Snellville, Ga.; grandchildren, Larry Soracco, Elias Soracco Saliba and Elizabeth Marie Saliba. Friends may visit with the family and celebrate Marie's life from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., on Saturday, September 4 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home, 901 Beaver Dam Road, Point Pleasant, 08742.
