Obituary of Irene Homick Wilton

Irene Homick Wilton, 81, of Brick, passed away, Tuesday, August 24, 2010. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Frank and Helen (Arsenich) Homick, she was a long time resident of Jersey City and Bayonne, moving to Brick five years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Anthony Wilton; her brothers, Frank Homick, Jr. and Michael Homick; and by her son-in-law, Michael Smith. Surviving are her daughters, Jule Ann Smith of Brick, and Helen Fernandez and her husband Timothy of Gonzales, LA; her son, Glenn Robert Wilton of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters, Marie Wilton and Roseann Brezna; four grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney, Jonathan, and Jill; and three great grandchildren, Mia, Grey, and Eve. Relatives and friends may visit from 2 - 5 p.m., Sunday, August 29 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Monday, August 30 a service will be held at the funeral home and will be followed by interment at the Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
