Obituary of Edna Lackey

Edna Sloan Lackey, 85, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at her home. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Haddonfield, she has lived in Point Pleasant Beach since the 1930's. A homemaker, Mrs. Lackey was a devoted wife, mother, and animal lover. Wife of the late, Jimmie Lee Lackey surviving are two sons, William Lackey and his wife Kathleen of Howell and Jimmie Lackey and his wife Donna of Pompano Beach, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Jennifer, Sean, Ryan, Keith, and Evan. Per her wishes there will be no services. As an expression of sympathy, donations made in her memory to the Jersey Shore Animal Center, 185 Brick Blvd., Brick, NJ 08723 would be appreciated.
