Obituary of Frank F. Elliott

Frank F. Elliott, 68, of Brick, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 2, 2010. Born in Hawthorne, NJ to the late Frank & Katherine Elliott, he was formerly of Point Pleasant, and has lived in Brick for the past twelve years. He was a United States Army, Vietnam veteran and graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick. He went on to receive his Masters Degree at Farleigh Dickinson University. For many years, Frank worked as a procurement officer in the economic division of Fort Monmouth, Eatontown. He was a member of the Rutgers Alumni Association; was an avid reader; a NY Jets & NY Yankees fan; and an active member of the Princeton Commons community. Frank loved spending time with his family especially playing with his grandson, Cole. Surviving are his beloved wife, Vivian Gimbrone Elliott; two daughters, Patti Elliott Blake and her husband Tom of Point Pleasant and Debbie Elliott DeSorbo and her husband Lou of Colorado Springs, CO; his grandson, Cole; and two nieces, Kathy & Susan Elliott. A gathering of friends, for a celebration of his life, will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday, December 6 at the Wharfside Restaurant, 101 Channel Drive, Point Pleasant Beach.
