Obituary of Maria A. Hutton

Maria A. Hutton, 65, of Brick, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 11, 2010. Born in New York, Maria was formerly of East Orange and has lived in Ocean County for over forty years. She had worked as an officer manager for The Debt Mediation Network, Long Branch. Maria loved boating and along with her husband enjoyed many happy, fun filled times with their Canal Point Marina family. She was predeceased by her mother, Angela Fillat Caldas; her brother, Richard Abella; and by her sister-in-law, JoAnn Abella. Surviving are her beloved husband, Patrick M. Hutton; two sons, David Alberty and his wife Chris of Toms River and John Alberty and his wife Sally of Mineral City, OH; her daughter, Angela Ragona and her husband Mike of Forked River; two step-children, Christopher Hutton and his wife Donna and Amy Dixon and her husband Jim; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charlie & Valerie Abella and John & Barbara Abella; nine grandchildren, Heather, Tomas, Briana, Ashleigh, Melissa, D.J., Megan, Avery, and Evan; a great-grandson, Gavin; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, December 15 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9 a.m., Thursday, a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Dominic Church, Van Zile Road & Route 88, Brick. Cremation will be held privately.
