Obituary of Kathryn A. Beckmann

Kathryn A. Dieckmann Beckmann, 68, of Sea Girt, passed away, Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Passaic, to the late Edward and Gertrude Dieckmann, she had lived in Manasquan Park before moving to Sea Girt in 1991. In the past 4 years, Kathy has lived in assisted living facilities, Sunrise in Lincroft and Brick, now the Worthington. Mrs. Beckmann was a Registered Nurse and had worked at Point Pleasant Hospital retiring in 1989. She was devoted parishioner of Saint Uriel the Archangel Episcopal Church, Sea Girt. She was predeceased by her son, Darren and by her brother, Frederick Dieckmann. Surviving are her beloved husband Bruce; two sons, Barrett and Daniel, both of Bayville; and her sister, Nancy Scheurer and her husband Philip of Knoxville, TN. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Monday, Jan. 24 at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Tuesday, Burial Office and Requiem will be said at Saint Uriel the Archangel Church, 219 Philadelphia Boulevard (at 3rd Avenue), Sea Girt, 08750, followed by interment at Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle. Those attending the service on Tuesday may meet directly at the church.
