Obituary of Beverly S. Sherman

Beverly Schoeneick Sherman, 75, of Toms River, passed away, Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at her home. Born in Newark, to the late Irwin & Mary Schoeneick, she lived there and has resided in Toms River for forty years. Mrs. Sherman worked as a home health aide, retiring from the Visiting Homemakers of Ocean County and was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Toms River. She was predeceased by two grandsons, Lyle, Jr. and Gary, Jr. Surviving are her beloved husband of fifty-four years, Louis E. Sherman; her daughter, Gayle Worsley and her husband Lyle of Brick, three sons, Gary Sherman and his wife Denise of Jackson, Louis "Bob" Sherman and his girlfriend Karen Ledford of Brick, and Steven Sherman and his fiance Susan Bonney of Toms River; her brother, Irwin Schoeneick, Jr. and his wife Karen; her grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica, Robert, Rebecca, Brett, Angela, Aimee, Kathy, and Megan; and her great-granddaughter, Molly. Visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 4, at the Pable - Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 10 a.m., Saturday, a service will be held at the funeral home, followed by interment at Laurelton Cemetery, Brick.
