Obituary of Doris M. Yersin

Doris Miller Yersin, 83, of Brick, passed away, Monday, February 28, 2011 at Ocean Medical Center. Born in Union, to the late John & Johanna Miller, she lived there, and for many years in Point Pleasant Beach before moving to Brick ten years ago. Mrs. Yersin had worked for New Jersey Bell, Union and Point Pleasant Beach, retiring as a service assistant. She was past president and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Point Pleasant Beach Fire Company, No. 2. Surviving are her beloved husband, of fifty four years, Ralph N.; two sons, Kenneth J. and his wife Betty Lynn of Manasquan and Paul R. and his wife Sophia of Howell; her daughter, Donna A. Norton and her husband Robert of Point Pleasant; and eight grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah-Ann, Lacey, Courtney, Kelsey, Cody, Raquel, and Jake. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, Mar. 4 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 8:30 p.m. a service will be held. Cremation will be private.
