Obituary of Neal R. Anderson

Neal R. Anderson, 76, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Born in Orange, to the late Carl & Edith Anderson, he lived in Morganville, for twenty-seven years and moved to Point Pleasant sixteen years ago. He was United States Army, Korean War veteran and was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant. Neal, and his late wife Mary, founded, owned, and operated By All Means Travel in Farmingdale and currently served as company president. He was a member of the B.P.O. Elks, Point Pleasant Lodge No. 1698 and Durand Lodge, No. 179, F.&A.M., Point Pleasant. Favorite pastimes were golf, traveling, and reading. His beloved wife, Mary M.B. Crimmings Anderson, predeceased him in 2006. Surviving are his daughters, Kristin Bongiovi and her husband Glenn, Tracey Anderson, and Dee Dee Anderson and her boyfriend Jay Becker, all of Point Pleasant; and three grandchildren, Gage & Dane Bongiovi, and Tyler Johnsen. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m., Saturday, April 2 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 5 p.m. his memorial service will held.
