Obituary of Walter F. Sheridan

Walter F. Sheridan, 89, of Point Pleasant, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 15, 2011 at his home. Born in Jersey City, to the late James & Helen Sheridan, he was formerly of Lodi and has lived in Point Pleasant since 1968. Walter proudly served his country in the Merchant Marines during World War II and had worked as a machinist before his retirement. He was a communicant of Saint Martha R.C. Church, Point Pleasant. Predeceased by his wife Evelyn in 1966, surviving are three sons, Walter F. Sheridan, Jr. of Cape May Court House, Robert Sheridan, and John Sheridan and his wife Barbara, all of Point Pleasant, and one grandson, Christopher. At 11 a.m., Monday, April 25 a Memorial Liturgy will be celebrated at Saint Martha Church, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
