Obituary of Pasquale V. Miranda

Pasquale V. Miranda, 94, of Point Pleasant, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born in Hoboken, to the late Dominick and Hope (Coppola) Miranda, he had lived in Hudson County, residing in Point Pleasant since 1996. Mr. Miranda was a retired postal worker from the USPS, West New York office. He was a United States Army Air Force, WW II veteran and former member of the Golden Senior Circle, Point Pleasant Beach. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Rose Scalzo Miranda; brother, Joseph; and sisters, Mary, Anna, and Maggie. Surviving are his son, Donald Miranda of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Stella Bock of Cranford and Dolores Travers of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m., Saturday, April 30 at the Pable-Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. Services and cremation will be held privately.
