Obituary of Thomas J. Santoriello

Thomas J. Santoriello, 84, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at the Claremont Care Center. Born in Brooklyn, to the late Francesco & Francesca Santoriello, he was a long-time Point Pleasant Beach resident. He relocated to South Beach, Miami and returned to Point Pleasant last year. Tom was owner and operator of CiCi Pizza on the Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk for many years. He was a United States Army veteran and proudly served his country during World War II. Tom loved living in South Beach, Miami and enjoyed following the Miami professional teams often frequenting Heat Basketball Games. He will be truly missed by many. He is predeceased by his five siblings four of whom were Point Pleasant Beach residents. Surviving are three generation of nieces and nephews including the twelve great-great nieces and nephews of whom he was most proud. Also surviving is his goddaughter, Kimberly Bieber Lombardo. At 10 a.m., Saturday, July 30 a memorial service will be held at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where friends may gather beginning at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
