Obituary of Daniel Christopher Engelbart

Daniel Christopher Engelbart, 36, of Brick, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 14, 2011. Born in Hackensack, he was a life long Brick resident and a 1993 graduate of Brick Memorial High School. Dan worked for the Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority as a senior maintenance technician. He loved music, fishing, drawing, and backyard barbeques with family and friends. Surviving are his parents, Robert and Maureen (Keller) Engelbart; his fiance, Theresa Hughes and her daughter Kayla Griso; his brother, William Engelbart; and his sister, Kelly Ferullo and her husband Stevan, all of Brick. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant. A private cremation will follow.
