Obituary of Kathryn Holford

Kathryn Metarko Holford, 82, of Brick, passed away, Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Burnt Tavern Health Care Center. Born in Ohio, to the late Peter & Anna (Wasil) Metarko, she was raised in Wellsboro, PA and had lived in Point Pleasant, moving to Brick twenty years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed square dancing. Mrs. Holford was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert; two sisters, Pauline & Betty; and by her brother, George. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur & Ginny Holford of Brick and John & Lori Holford of Smyrna, DE; four brothers, Robert, Gary, Frederick, & Peter Metarko; her sister, Mae McDonald; and four grandchildren, Rebecca, Robert, Jacqueline, and Catherine Elizabeth. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 p.m., Friday, August 19 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road, where at 7:30 p.m. a service will be held.
