Obituary of Wallace John Hillman

Wallace J. Hillman, age 88 of Brick, NJ, died peacefully on Monday, Sept 6th at Ocean Medical Center. He was born in Newark, NJ and went on to join the US Marines during WWII where he served in the Marshall Islands. After the service, he was a police officer for the City of Newark for 30 years and during this time married (Annette) and raised 4 children (John, Cathy, Kenneth and Susan). He moved to Point Pleasant , NJ in 1976 where he lived with his family for 15 years, and then went on to spend time between residences in New Smyrna Beach, Fla. and Brick, NJ. Wallace is survived by his children John, Kenneth, Susan, and 4 grandchildren, Donald, Zachary, Russel, Lindsey, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 9, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road followed by a 2:30 p.m., inurnment at Brig. Gen. Wm. C.
