Obituary of Helen V. McCormack

Helen V. Reichardt McCormack, 79, of Point Pleasant, passed away, Wednesday, December 7, 2011. Born in Linden, to the late Joseph & Cecelia Reichardt, she has lived in Point Pleasant since 1959. Helen was retired from Point Pleasant Hospital/Ocean Medical Center, where she worked in billing and finance. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, John P. "Jake" McCormack, Sr. Surviving are two sons, John "Jack" McCormack and his wife Nancy of Hopewell, and James McCormack of Point Pleasant; two daughters, Patricia Convery and her husband Daniel of Scotch Plains and Susan McCormack of Stamford, CT; her brother, Gerard Reichardt; her sister, Rita Lockwood; and four grandchildren, Danny, Drew, Meredith, and Ally. Visitation will be from 2 - 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, 3800 Herbertsville Road, Point Pleasant. Interment at the NJ Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association www.alz.org would be appreciated.
