Obituary of Phyllis F. DeJewski

Phyllis F. Jankowski DeJewski, of Point Pleasant, passed away suddenly, Sunday, January 22, 2012. Born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Frank & Julia Jankowski, she was formerly of Union and Cedar Grove, and has lived in Point Pleasant for twenty five years. Mrs. DeJewski was an avid gardener and member of the Point Pleasant Garden Club. She also was a communicant and choir member of the Church of Saint Martha, Point Pleasant. Her beloved husband, Stanley W. DeJewski, predeceased her in 1989. Surviving are her brother, Raymond Jankowski and his wife Minnie of Lakewood; her nieces and nephews, Steven, Christine, Marianne, Susan, Barbara, Joseph, and Janice; and several great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 26, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of Saint Martha, followed by interment at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair.
