Obituary of Robert Wayne Stotz

Robert Wayne Stotz, 69, of Brick, passed away, Monday, January 23, 2012. Born in Newark, to the late George & Evelyn Stotz, he was raised there and has lived in Brick for fifty years. Mr. Stotz worked as an electrician and was a member of and employed by, I.B.E.W., No. 52 and 164, Newark. He loved boating, NASCAR racing, and spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his brother, Sherwood Stotz. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Geraci Stotz; and his son, Daniel Stotz and his wife Kim of Clayton, NC. He is also survived by two step-sons, Salvatore LaRosa and his wife Heather and Peter LaRosa and his wife Allison; seven grandchildren, Victoria, Henry, Elizabeth, Sal, Madison, Nicholas, and Pia; his sister in law, Hannah Havens Stotz; several nieces and nephews, and by his beloved dog, Sara. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 26 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 9 a.m., Friday, Jan. 27, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Dominic Church, Brick. Cremation will be held privately. The family would like to express their deepest thanks for the care given by Meridian Hospice, and especially by homemaker, Maureen.
