Obituary of Eugenie L. Skinner

Eugenie L. Perret Skinner, 89, of Brick, passed away, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Meridian Nursing Center, Brick. Born in Plainfield, to the late Albert & Mildred Perret, she lived in Bayville, Point Pleasant, and also in Lakewood before moving to Brick. Mrs. Skinner worked as a sales representative at Butler's Pharmacy in Point Pleasant for many years and also at the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library. She was a devoted member of the Osbornville Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alvah, and by her son, William. Surviving are three sons, Robert Skinner and his partner Eugene Jimenez of Jackson, Wayne Skinner and his wife Georgia of Bayville, and Richard Skinner and his wife Geni of Lanoka Harbor; one daughter, Janet Heritage and her husband Steve of Toms River; and one sister, Alberta Myers of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 - 9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3, at the Osbornville Baptist Church, 366 Drum Point Road, Brick, NJ 08723. At 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, funeral services will be held at the church, followed by interment at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
