Obituary of Kathleen R. Sirchio

Kathleen R. Sullivan Sirchio, 61, of Point Pleasant Beach, passed away, Friday, March 2, 2012 at Jersey Shore Medical Center. Born in Newark, to the late George and Lydia Sullivan, she was formerly of Glen Ridge and has lived in Point Pleasant Beach since 1991. Kathy worked as an insurance producer for Conover Beyer Associates, Manasquan. She was a member of the Twin Mother's Club of America; founding mother of the Jersey Shore Junior Wrestling League; and was a Grand Lady of Wrestling. Kathy was also a communicant of Saint Peter R.C. Church, Point Pleasant Beach. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Michele Deane Sirchio in 1998. Surviving are her loving husband, of thirty-three years, Michael D. Sirchio; her children, Matthew, Michael, and Laurie Sirchio, all of Point Pleasant Beach; two grandchildren, Kyle & Ryan; her extended family; and many dear friends. Visitation will be from 2 - 4 p.m. & 7 - 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 6 at the Pable Evertz Funeral Home of Point Pleasant, 901 Beaver Dam Road. At 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Peter Church, followed by entombment at Saint Catharine Cemetery, Sea Girt.
